Co-working for your money
The money task you keep dodging? Done in an hour.
The statement you haven't opened. The medical bill you keep moving to tomorrow's pile. The fee you've been meaning to call about for three weeks. The Money Hour is where you finally sit down and do it, withย an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFCยฎ) in the room and other people doing the exact same thing.
Claim a free spotEveryone's pile is different. Nobody clears it alone.
The firstย 25 members get in free, for life.ย After that it's $17/month.
Ignoringย it is anย option.
It's just the most expensive one.
โฆand counting, while it sits unopened.
Fees and interest don't pause out of politeness.
Why the envelope stays closed
It's not that you can't do it. It's that you won't sit down and do it alone.
You are a capable adult. You file things, you remember birthdays, you've talked your way out of worse. And somehow that one envelope has achieved permanent residency on your kitchen counter.
That's not a flaw. Avoidance is just what brains do with tasks that mix a little dread and zero reward. The problem is the bill keeps its own schedule. It doesn't wait politely while you build up the nerve.
Sound familiar?
This is for you ifโฆ
- You've avoided opening a bill for longer than you'd admit out loud.
- You earn good money and still feel weird about your money.
- You do hard things all day and freeze on the personal finance pile.
- You've tried to "just sit down and do it" and somehow never do.
- You want someone who actually knows this stuff in the room while you work.
- You're done letting avoidance quietly cost you money.
You just need a list and 75 minutes (or less!)
Two sessions a week ยท 75 minutes each
Join when you need. Stay five minutes or the whole hour.
Arrive and settle
Every session opens with one short, useful money idea and a quick name-check on the resistance. Pretending the dread isn't there is how it wins, so we say it out loud.
Work your list
Open the thing. Pay the card. Make the call. Dispute the charge. I'm there the whole time. Unmute and ask me what to say to Amex, then go back to your list.
Put something down
Whatever you cleared, we name it. Even the small wins, especially the small wins. Then I tell you when the next one is, before the dread creeps back.
Not your average co-working room
There's a Certified Financial Counselor (AFCยฎ) in the room with you.
Most body doubling rooms are just strangers on a Zoom. With The Money Hour I'll be right there with you. I'm Lisa Gould, an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFCยฎ).ย
I'm not coming at this from a place of having always had it figured out. I came back from real debt and bankruptcy before I built the practice I have now. I know what the unopened envelope feels like, because I've lived inside that silence.
The Money Hour is the room I wish I'd had. During the sessions,ย I stay visible and available the whole session. When you hit the part you don't understand, the line item, the fee, the thing you're scared to click, you unmute and ask. Real answers, in the moment, from someone who does this for a living.ย
What it's like to have Lisa in your corner
Reviews from Lisa's one-on-one clients over the years.
Lisa is brilliant! She helped me reduce my debt and still enjoy my life. I will forever be grateful to her.
My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Lisa! The relief we feel about our finances would not have been possible without her.
Lisa is a lifesaver. If you have stress about money, she puts it all in perspective and designs solid strategies to meet your goals. I feel so lucky to have her help.
Lisa calmly helped me review my options and make a plan, broke it into manageable steps, and helped me find a fun, profitable new career. Neutral and non-judgmental.
I've worked with Lisa for six months and she is a godsend. The money stuff was completely overwhelming. Thanks to her I feel so much more in control and can see clear progress.
Lisa basically helped save my business and my personal finances! She doesn't pull punches, but adds a dash of magic to her advice. I consider her more like a business partner.
Lisa has been a god-send! We've seen major results in how we view spending and saving, and we have better conversations about money now. Friendly, kind, and encouraging.
Thank heavens for this woman! She is so loving and understanding, no judgement at all, that I felt safe giving her my unorganized files of shame. I love working with her.
We can't say enough good things about Lisa. She's a wonderful guide through a subject that's complex and sometimes triggering. Lisa is fun, kind and wise.

The founding 25
The first 25 spots are free. For life.
I'm opening The Money Hour with a founding group of 25 people who get lifetime access at no cost. In exchange, you show up, you tell me what's working and what isn't, and you help me make this room as good as it can be.
After those 25 spots are gone, membership opens to everyone at $17/month.
- Two live 75-minute sessions every week (a weekday morning and a Saturday morning)
- Real-time access to me during every session
- A grounded, no-shame room full of people clearing their own lists
- Lifetime access, locked in
Questions, answered.
What is body doubling, and why does it work?
What kinds of tasks do people bring?
Is this coaching?
Do I have to be on camera?
Who am I working with?
What if I can only stay a few minutes?
The pile is not going anywhere.
It waits, it grows, it nags at you on a Tuesday for no reason. Or you grab one of the 25 free spots, show up, and put something down for good.
